What is Testosterone? Signs of Low Testosterone
Testosterone is a hormone produced by our body. Testosterone is mainly produced in men by testicles. It helps in building muscles, stimulates bone mass, it also promotes sperm production & men’s sex drive.
One of the common signs of low testosterone level is age. Testosterone production reduces with age, according to a research 2 out of 10 men older than 60 years has low testosterone level.
Testosterone level is measured through a blood test named as serum testosterone test. A normal testosterone reading falls somewhere between 300-1000 nanograms per deciliter (ng/DL).
What Cause Low Testosterone Level?
With the increase in age testosterone level decreases. The natural process of testosterone decline commonly starts after the age of 30 & continues throughout his life.

1. Difficulty with erection
Low testosterone level makes it difficult to maintain or get an erection. It promotes the penile tissue to produce nitric oxide which performs several reactions which result in an erection.

Testosterone plays a vital role in producing semen in our body which is a kind of milky fluid. Men with low testosterone level can notice a decrease in the volume of semen while ejaculation.
3. Low sex drive
